Eight-week self-directed Finding Peace in a Frantic World course. The course includes three online live sessions on Mondays at 17.00 for one hour over the eight weeks. Online sessions are on: 22 April, 20 May and 17 June 2024.

Overview

This is an eight-week, self-directed, mindfulness course using as the basis, Mark Williams and Danny Penman’s best-selling book Mindfulness: Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World.

You will be supported by experienced teacher Clara Strauss (co-lead of Sussex Mindfulness Centre) in three online sessions at the beginning, middle and end of the eight-week course. For most of the course, you will follow the exercises in the book on your own. You will need to set aside around half-an-hour a day from 22 April to 17 June for this.

Who is the course for?

This course offers a highly accessible, engaging and practical introduction to mindfulness. It is suitable for beginners who want to learn flexibly.
