Mindfulness and compassion retreats
Retreats are an important part of your mindfulness and compassion practice. They can provide the space, time and surroundings to help you deepen your practice.
Types of retreats
We offer a range of retreats, from one to five days. Some retreats have a theme, such as understanding the foundations of mindfulness or developing and deepening compassion practice. Our free one-day retreats are sometimes held online and other times they are in Brighton. Location is specified in the specific event listing.
Criteria for attending
You can attend these retreats if you have completed an eight-week mindfulness course. There are more details about what experience is required in the specific retreat listing.
Requirement for teachers
For mindfulness teachers and supervisors, attending retreats is part of the annual requirement for being listed on the BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches) register.
