All drop-ins and day retreats are free of charge and do not require any booking. There are different arrangements for different drop ins. Please read the detail for the site where you wish to attend.
Drop-ins All day retreats
Events to support the development of mindfulness teachers and people interested in mindfulness. These include events lasting from one day up to a week and are typically led by nationally and internationally renowned speakers, as well as by local mindfulness teachers with particular areas of expertise.
These events support the development of people interested in compassion-oriented approaches, such as Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) and Mindfulness-based Compassionate Living (MBCL).

The theme of our 2018 conference was community mindfulness: staying connected, local and accessible. We had workshops, mindfulness practice, discussions and short talks led by mindfulness teachers, researchers and service users. View the programme.

- Jason Gonzalez (Principal Facilitator of The Mindful Leader programme, in partnership with Queen’s University Belfast William J. Clinton Leadership Institute) on 'Building a Compassionate Culture in a Competitive Environment'
- Bridgette O’Neill (Trainer, Sussex Mindfulness Centre) and Robert Marx (Co-lead, Sussex Mindfulness Centre) on 'Compassionate approaches to mindfulness: Mindful Self-Compassion & Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living'
A full programme will be available in due course.
The conference is free for SMC advocates and for current/recent Sussex Partnership service users, SPFT Staff and SMC Trust Approved Teachers and SMC researcher staff and students. The conference is £90 for other attendees. Tea and coffee will be provided.
