Train to teach mindfulness and mindful self-compassion

Train to teach mindfulness and mindful self-compassion with one of the leading mindfulness centres in the UK. You’ll be learning at the only mindfulness and mindful self-compassion teacher training and research centre embedded in the NHS.

Teacher training open to everybody

Our teacher training courses are open to everybody whether or not you have a clinical background. And if you work for the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust there are opportunities to apply for funded places.

We offer one-year part-time training to teach the eight-week Mindful Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses. We also offer training for people who wish to teach adapted mindfulness-based interventions safely and effectively in a broad variety of contexts and populations.

As a UK centre that specialises in mindful self-compassion, we run teacher training for people who want to run the eight-week Mindful Self-Compassion course.

And to deepen your knowledge, experience and skills as a mindfulness teacher, we run many masterclasses and other events.
