Buddhist Foundations of Mindfulness
9 October at 09:30 to 16:30

This workshop explores the Buddhist origins and intentions of mindfulness practice.
Even though many of us deliver entirely secular mindfulness programmes, many of the ideas in contemporary mindfulness-based programmes make more sense when we understand their origins and intentions.
Co-author of Mindfulness: Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology, Christina Feldman is one of the few experts who can help us understand the connections between the two worlds.
What is covered?
Even though it is common to deliver secular mindfulness-based programmes, many of the ideas in these programmes make more sense when we understand their origins and intentions.
